Contest and Giveaway
We just attended a favorite summer event—a community yard sale in a nearby village. This one is one of the largest in the area with sales, food and entertainment. We go for the thrill of the hunt. You can never tell what treasure you’ll find, and we found some real goodies. You can join in the fun. I’m running a contest. If you enter and win, I will send you a eBook of one of the books in my Big Lake Murder Mysteries, either Dumpster Dying or Grilled, Chilled and Killed. Since I’m working on the third one in the series, Scream Muddy Murder, my protagonist Emily Rhodes is on my mind. She must be hot and humid in rural Florida’s steamy weather right now.
It’s easy to enter. Here’s a picture of a number of items, some of which I bought at a yard sale, but one I did not. In the comment section, choose which item you think was purchased new. The first person to correctly identify the item is the winner. Easy, right?
In case you’re having difficulty identifying the items, they are: a yellow luncheon plate, a purple candle holder, a decorative duck, a Paddington Bear, a blue and white teapot, and pastry cutter for cutting butter into flour. Contest ends this coming Saturday. Why that date? Because I’ll be attending yet another community yard sale, the one in my own village, so I could run another contest next Sunday! The summer is just heating up around here, so visit this blog often for yard sale adventures, the county fair and any other fun things I can dream up!
Good luck.
